Founded in 2010 as a single-truck operation in Western Australia’s North West mining sector, MDH Transport has grown into a trusted name in bulk haulage and logistics. Today, we operate a modern fleet of over 50 prime movers and over 80 pieces of trailing equipment, including side and grain tippers, servicing the Wheatbelt and Pilbara regions.
In 2021, we expanded beyond the North West into the Eastern Wheatbelt, strengthening our capabilities and allowing us to serve key areas, including Merredin, Bruce Rock, Burracoppin, Narembeen, and beyond.
During the record-breaking 2021 and 2022 harvest seasons, MDH Transport played a crucial role in moving the highest volume of grain tonnages—all while maintaining a zero-incident safety record, a testament to our commitment to excellence.
In 2023, we purchased a large industrial site in Karratha LIA, firming our footprint into the Pilbara as a locally based company. After working across mine sites, which have housed our equipment for the past 12 years, we now have our yard, which we developed with offices and a workshop, has been a goal for many years.
Our purpose-built yard, workshop, and accommodation facilities ensure our fleet remains in peak condition, where devoted service staff and mechanics are available on-site.
Beyond harvest season, we continue to support the CBH Group with intra-bin transfers and direct farm-to-storage haulage. Meanwhile, our North West-based fleet is engaged in major rail renewal, infrastructure, and construction projects, with over 20 road trains and water carts stationed at our Karratha depot.
