Our stringent procedure for initial atmosphere gas testing of confined spaces ensures all critical path works defined by our clients are met. As the permits come online, ISH24 will conduct an initial gas test in each space to ensure it is safe for the crew to enter.
Our gas testers communicate with plant supervisors and permit issuers/holders to ensure that the test is conducted and recorded, and that an ISH24 Confined Space Sensor is in position once the space is confirmed to be ready.
To keep the test current, we renew it before the start of every shift and before the current test expires, which helps avoid unnecessary delays. This is managed through our Sentry Control Room, where we have time clocks that alarm an hour before the tests expire.
